community Outreach

Portland Chamber Music is passionate about giving back to the community, and especially those in need.  We reach out to a diverse set of community groups to offer free-to-attend performances at their respective locations.

Like our neighborhood outreach program, our goal is to increase equitable access and inclusiveness. We frequently perform for:

• Senior Centers and Retirement Communities

• Inmates incarcerated in Correctional Facilities

• Schools and Public Libraries

• the LGBTQ community

• People experiencing homelessness

Some of the places we frequent include:

• Courtyard at Mt. Tabor and Hawthorne Gardens Senior Living Communities and West Hills Village Senior Residence.

• Larch Corrections Center.

• Ethos Music Center, Wilsonville and Tigard Public Libraries, and Cedar Mill Community Library.

• The Q Center.

• Portland Rescue Mission, Blanchet House, St. Francis of Assisi, All Saints Episcopal Church, and Sisters of the Road Cafe.
